Boys: July 25 – 28, 2024

We do not charge the campers to attend camp.  As always, we have raised the funds to cover all the costs so that we can operate this camp without charging any fee.

Use the green button above to go to our online camper application. If the camper has a case-worker, they are the legal guardian and must sign the form. Use the Save feature on the form and send the link to the case-worker for their signature.

“My FD said it was the best time of her life, we all cried a few times ! I so appreciate what you did for those kids, thank you!!”

“A foster parent said today that she had never seen her two foster daughters so happy ever and that it was an incredible experience for them. She said seeing them sing the songs on stage brought tears to her eyes.”

We are a faith-based camp. However, we do not proselytize and we welcome campers of all religious views. We respect their right to believe as they choose. Our curriculum provided by the Teen Reach National Headquarters is based on characters in the Bible to encourage, inspire and grow character in the youth who attend T.R.A.C. The curriculum offers positive life lessons in overcoming difficult circumstances regardless of their belief system.

On any given day, there’s approximately 700 children in foster care in Ventura County. This number has significantly decreased over the past few years. County representatives largely credit James Storehouse for this decrease.

  • Approximately 30,000 children are currently in foster care in Los Angeles County on any given day. For perspective, the Crypto Arena (formerly Staples Center) seats 19,000 people.

  • Over 400,000 children are currently in foster care in the US.

  • Foster care is ground zero of 3 primary social issues:

    • 50% of the homeless population spent time in foster care

    • 75% of incarcerated individuals spent time in foster care

    • 80% of domestic sex-trafficking survivors spent time in foster care

  • More than 23,000+ children will age out of the US foster care system every year.

    • Of these youth aging out, 20% will become instantly homeless after their 18th birthday. Just half will be employed at the age of 24. Within four years of aging out, 50% of TAY have no earnings, and those who do, make an average annual income of $7,500. Only 3% of children who have aged out of foster care will ever earn a college degree at any point in their life.

  • About 70% of teen girls in foster care will become pregnant before the age of 21. Heartbreakingly, one of the biggest predictors of a child entering foster care is if the child’s mother was in foster care herself.

  • The percentage of children who age out of the foster care system and still suffer from the direct effects of PTSD: 25%. More than double the rate of U.S. veterans.
